🔒 Short version: ResumeForge processes all resume data locally in your browser. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal information or resume content. No account is required. Nothing you type into the builder is ever sent to our servers.
ResumeForge collects no personal data through the resume builder. All information you enter — your name, contact details, work history, education, and skills — is processed entirely within your browser and is never transmitted to ResumeForge's servers.
When you close your browser tab, your resume data is gone unless you saved a PDF locally.

If you use the AI writing assistant, you provide your own API key from a third-party provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google). When you generate content:

ResumeForge displays standard display advertisements and Infolinks placements. Advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads.
You can limit personalized advertising through your browser privacy settings and the opt-out tools provided by the relevant advertising partners.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (page views, referrers, browser types). Cloudflare Web Analytics is privacy-focused and does not use cookies or fingerprinting. No individual user is tracked.
ResumeForge itself does not require cookies for the resume builder. Advertising partners may set cookies for ad delivery or measurement. Cloudflare may set functional cookies as part of its CDN and security infrastructure.
